When I was young I could not life the weights
That used to sit in the corner of my dad’s place
He said don’t go near them son and you’ll be safe but he said
For now you’re too young but son I’m sure
That one day you’ll life them off the floor
And you’ll have strength that no one’s seen before
But now don’t feel sad you must appreciate
Your youth coz when you’re young it’s fun but sunshine you must wait to life those weights
But you must always try to actuate
But don’t you ever lift those weights
When I was 10 I couldn’t see from over
From the inside of the dashboard of my rover
Still I wanted to drive all over the place
So I took the keys in the front seat
I started the engine but I could not reach
The pedals without sliding onto my feet
But my dad said

You’re too young to drive right now but maybe someday you’ll be great
Plus you’re too short to ever get too far
So don’t you ever drive my car

My hands hurt from all the work
But I don’t see an improvement I’ve got bills to pay
And I’ve got blood stains running down my shirt
From the fight I took part in the other day
So I bandage my hands, support my knees
Focus and breathe, and try stinging like a bee
But I just hurt myself again I just fall on my own sting
But giving up is like falling down
And I will break my fall before I ever hit the ground
And although I’m scared I will make a sound that will shake my opponents fears
Because I am a story teller when my fists start to box your ears

Battered and bruised marked purple and blue
He’s so confused he doesn’t know what to do
